Today is our Log In Date one year anniversary

We are happy and excited to share with you that the CCAA updated its website yesterday. It reads as follows:

"The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before June 28, 2005."

In the adoption community, this is commonly referred to as the "Stork Alert". Contacts in our travel group have already tracked the DHL package containing our daughter's information and it is scheduled to arrive at our adoption agency Monday at noon. This means that Sean and I will receive a call from the agency either Monday afternoon or Tuesday of next week!!! We will receive limited information at first i.e. her Chinese name, birth date, what province she is from and possibly her weight. We will receive Kylie's picture along with medical stats and personality traits a week later once the agency has had a chance to translate our documents. There are 23 families in our group, so the agency has quite a bit of work ahead of them.

We are excited beyond words that the unexpectedly long and difficult wait we experienced will finally end soon. Champagne will be over flowing at "Casa de Durney" next week. We'd love for our local family and friends to come celebrate with us. We will keep you posted.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone once again for all of your love and support.
